Keyboard split

— this feature allows you to split the Digital Piano keyboard into two Voices—in other words, play two different “instruments” with your left and right hands. In this way, for example, you can accompany the piano part with the sounds of an organ or a string orchestra, or use other similar techniques. And the combination of this function with layering of timbres (see the relevant paragraph) makes it possible to use up to 3 timbres at the same time — one for the left hand and two, superimposed on each other, for the right.

Note that the choice of timbres for a split keyboard can be done in different ways: in some models, pre-written combinations are provided, in others, timbres can be selected at the request of the musician.
