— a rather rare variant found in two types of instruments. The first is the ukulele, where instead of 4 strings, 4 pairs of strings are used. The second, even more specific case is full-size guitars created according to the “4 + 2x2” scheme: in such instruments, the third and fourth strings are made paired. In both cases, additional strings allow you to achieve a richer and more saturated sound, but make it difficult to play solo parts.
