Acoustic tenor guitars
Tenor
— a rather large variety of ukulele (see "Type"), having a length of 26" and a scale of 17". Before the advent of bass and double bass ukuleles, tenor body models were second in size only to baritones. The classic tuning for such an instrument is ADF#B, a tone higher than that of a soprano; however, other tunings may be used, including the "guitar" DGBE.Recall that in the case of a ukulele, increasing the size increases the volume of the sound and reduces the emphasis on high frequencies.
