Electro-acoustic guitars
— an "extended and augmented" version of a regular acoustic guitar (see the relevant paragraph): an acoustic instrument equipped with a pickup and an output for connecting to an external amplifier. This greatly expands the possibilities for the use of such guitars and makes them very convenient for concerts and other events where the instrument needs to be sounded with the help of external equipment. At the same time, nothing prevents you from using the guitar without connection, like ordinary acoustics. At the same time, note that additional equipment significantly affects the price of the instrument — both because of the cost of the components themselves, and because of the need to compensate for the deterioration in acoustic properties that occurs due to foreign elements in the case.
