Headphone amplifiers with 6.35 mm output
Jack (6.35 mm)
— the “big brother” of the mini-Jack 3.5 mm interface (see the relevant paragraph), which is distinguished by larger sizes and somewhat advanced features. Most often used in a similar way — as a line audio output (for example, to connect an external audio system). However, due to the dimensions, additional Jack outputs are installed mainly in stationary models (see "Type") and are rarely used in portable solutions. On the other hand, large dimensions also provide a number of advantages: in particular, the connection is more reliable and noise-resistant. In addition, it is quite possible to implement even a balanced connection through a 6.35 mm Jack (for more details, see "XLR" in the same list), although such functionality is relatively rare in headphone amplifiers — the standard format of operation is used much more often, with the transmission of both channels of stereo sound through one outlet 6.35 mm.Jack (6.35 mm) | clear | Save List |
