So if the lamp is planned to be installed on such a seat, a model with a mounting device in the kit may well be the best choice. Before buying, of course, it does not fit to clarify the specific compatibility of the "native" mount; however, in most cases this is not a problem. But for more specific mounting options, it is better to find a lantern without a mount — this will allow you not to overpay for extra equipment, which with a high probability may turn out to be inappropriate.
We also recall that some flashlights with a mount have a one-piece design and are designed for use only as grenade launchers; however, most models are made detachable and can also be used in the format of ordinary hand-held flashlights.
