Dive torches

For diving

— specialized flashlights designed for scuba diving and able not only to endure diving under water, but also withstand pressure at a depth of several tens of metres. Such flashlights can be a very useful acquisition for scuba divers, underwater hunters, fans of photography and video shooting under water, etc. The specific depth limit can be different, it is usually specified in the detailed characteristics of the model. For waterproofing in general, see "Features/Characteristics"; here we note that not every waterproof flashlight belongs to diving. This is due to the fact that for comfortable use under water, not only a sealed housing may be required, but also some other design features — bright inserts for visibility, convenient controls, buoyancy that does not allow the flashlight to sink, etc. Such features are rarely found in non-diving flashlights.
