External batteries with DC input
prices on 2 models DC input
— connector for the signature round plug of the power supply (similar to those used, in particular, in laptops). Such an interface is less convenient than standard connectors like microUSB or Lightning (see the relevant paragraphs). The fact is that DC plugs can have different sizes, and chargers with such plugs can have different operating voltages. This leads to the fact that it is not easy to find a non-native charger for a power bank; when searching, you need to be especially careful. On the other hand, the DC connector can handle higher currents than microUSB, USB type C or Lightning; this reduces the charging time, which is especially important for high-capacity batteries. Therefore, the presence of such an input is typical mainly for high-capacity power banks, for which charging through weaker interfaces would take too much time.
