— cast iron is an iron-based alloy with a high carbon content. A rather specific material used in some teapots (see "Type"). The walls of such teapots are made quite thick, due to which the container retains heat for a long time and ensures high-quality brewing. Cast iron has a lot of weight, however, given the small size of the dishes, in this case this is not critical — on the contrary, massiveness gives a feeling of quality and solidity.
