Metal kettles
Metal
— in most cases, metal means stainless steel (cast iron is a separate category — see the relevant paragraph). This material is found in all types of teaware (see "Type"), but it is especially popular among traditional teapots. This is due to the fact that steel is durable, reliable, tolerates strong heat (including on open fire), is compatible with induction heaters and quickly transfers heat to the contents. Relatively few metal teapots are produced, in this case steel is used more for design reasons. But in French presses, only a lid with a press and a “cup holder” for a container are made of stainless steel — the container itself is, by definition, glass. No offers found
