Corkscrew

— a classic corkscrew is a tool for opening corked bottles, especially wine bottles. The working part of the corkscrew has the form of a spiral made of durable metal with a pointed end: this spiral is screwed into the cork, after which the latter can be removed by pulling the corkscrew. Chef's kits often use not the simplest spiral corkscrews with a handle, but tools with a lever mechanism — it significantly reduces the effort required to remove the cork and simplifies uncorking.
