Coil metal detectors
Coil
— emitter-coils have a round or rounded shape and consist of a certain number of turns of wire, as well as a frame on which this wire is placed. They are used in almost all types of metal detectors (see "The principle of operation"). In general, the detection depth of such devices is small, and to increase it, it is necessary to significantly increase the diameter of the emitter itself. However, coils have another important advantage: they allow you to localize finds with high accuracy, “see” rather small objects and allow you to apply discrimination.Show
