Flagship of the ACE family
The Garrett ACE Apex multifunctional metal detector is the top model of the popular ICQ series (popular name), which stands out for its advanced technical capabilities. The 15.2x27.9 cm elliptical double-D Viper broadband coil has low electrical impedance. It is in good agreement with the Multi-Flex multi-frequency target detection technology and makes the metal detector a universal tool for searching for coins and rare artifacts not only in the ground, but also on the beach and even in shallow water. The device can operate on 4 fixed frequencies (5, 10, 15 and 20 kHz), as well as on 2 multi-frequency search modes in soil and salt water. Since there are 8 independent channels (frequency shifts) for each frequency, the user gets 48 different frequency settings, allowing you to work without problems near sources of electrical and magnetic interference.
20 segment discriminator
The model has a nice design with a curved handle and armrest. A large control box with a digital display is fixed under the waterproof rubberized handle, on which you can select one of 6 search modes using the buttons: all metals, coins, US coins, relics, jewelry and custom. Cam locks provide rigidity to the boom length from 102cm to 135cm. The unit has 175 ground balance settings, a 20-segment discriminator, and a hybrid audio system with speakers and a headphone output jack. The Digital Target ID displays values from 0 to 99 accompanied by one of 5 volume-adjustable tones, including Apex Hybrid Audio. The user can adjust the sensitivity of the device and an additional Pin-Point target designation mode, which provides clarification of the location of the search object.
Built-in battery
The device is powered by a built-in branded Li-Ion battery, the capacity of which is enough for 15 hours of operation. The battery is charged via a micro USB cable that comes with the device, and the amount of residual charge is displayed by an indicator on the screen.
