Proprietary battery

— powered by the original branded battery (in some models it may even be non-removable). This option is convenient because the battery is usually supplied with the metal detector, and its recharging is orders of magnitude cheaper than regular purchase of replacement batteries. At the same time, it is recharging that is, in fact, the only option when the charge is exhausted — and it takes time and a power source. Therefore, this option is rarely used — mainly in advanced devices for which the power of replaceable elements is not enough.
