Dual Zone

— the ability to use the radio to output sound from two different sources — one separately to the front speakers, the other to the rear. Thus, the driver and passengers hear “to each his own” (for example, a traffic report on the front speakers and a music disc on the rear). Dual Zone is best suited for spacious interiors — in minivans, jeeps, executive cars. Of course, it does not provide complete separation, but the extraneous signal for each listener is minimized.
