However, most radio tape recorders with such equipment are quite advanced devices with large colour screens on which maps are clearly visible. Thus, the presence of GPS at least allows the radio to work as a navigator. In addition, there may be other uses for this function, including rather specific ones — for example, adding coordinates to a video captured in dashcam mode, and even searching for nearby friends from social networks.
