Amplifiers with IR input
— the presence in the design of the amplifier input for connecting an infrared signal receiver. The role of such a receiver is most often played by another component of the audio system — for example, a player. The function itself allows you to use the remote control even where it cannot directly “reach” the amplifier’s own sensor — for example, from another room, if you place an external IR receiver there. It is worth noting that such control is usually available between devices of the same manufacturer, and even in this case, it is worthwhile to separately clarify the compatibility of components according to the official documentation.
