Amplifiers with coaxial S/P-DIF input
— the presence in the design of the amplifier of a coaxial version of the S / P-DIF input, which uses a conventional electrical cable during operation. These connectors use the RCA interface, but do not confuse them with conventional analogue inputs: S / P-DIF operates in digital format and is capable of transmitting even multi-channel audio over a single cable. However this interface has increased requirements for the cable itself, and not every RCA “cord” is suitable for its normal operation.
