Black Diamond's Raven Pro is a technical mountaineering axe redesigned with a slight curve for a greater performance whether you're kicking steps up the steeps or traversing icy crevasses. Black Diamond also updated the pic, adze, and spike geometry for greater security in shallow placements. The shaft now has a grooved grip for greater control during self-arrests. The aggressive head has a large hole fit for carabiners of any size.

We tie in with the Aquila for optimal comfort from bolted routes to clean cracks. The wider waist evenly distributes pressure from our larger frame, letting us figure out beta without distracting hot spots, while the thin, flexible padding follows our every twist and bend.
