PSUs Aerocool series Value Plus
Aerocool Value Plus
Value Plus series power supplies, like Indonesian pirates, fly over the water, below sea level and do not really want to fit into the 80+ certification accepted by everyone. This is a general standard for evaluating the quality of the power supply unit, which evaluates the efficiency of the model, the quality of its element base, the ability to work under overload and the level of noise produced. The problem is that you have to pay for a crust of 80+ Bronze, Gold or Titanium, so manufacturers of low-cost products prefer to stand aside, naming the efficiency for each specific model.
The Aerocool Value Plus line includes modified models from the Value series, whose circuitry has been partially redesigned, the quality of stabilization has increased, cooling efficiency has increased, and new connectors have appeared. Usually, they are bought into simple home and office computers, from which no feats are required.
For gaming assemblies, this is not the most reliable option, because despite the work done on errors, Value Plus models still remain entry-level products with an uneven efficiency curve at different load levels, low-cost circuitry and far from the highest reliability indicator. The set of protections is usually limited to basic overvoltage (OVP), overcurrent (OPP) and short circuit (SCP) protection.
The model range includes several variations of the same Value Plus model. We are talking about the regular version, a slightly modified Value Plus and a version with RGB backlight. As for the choice of power, literally any options are actively presented in stores, starting with basic 400-watt power supplies and ending with powerful 800-watt models. For all devices of this series, the manufacturer gives a 2-year warranty.
