Mains powered screwdrivers
Mains (230 V)
— powered by a standard 230 V mains. This power supply is suitable for devices of almost any power, including heavy tools for diamond drilling (see "More features"). At the same time, in most cases, you can use a regular household socket for connection, except that the most powerful models (with motors from 3 to 3.5 kW) may require connection directly to the electrical panel. However the corded tool is noticeably heavier and more expensive than the pneumatic one and less convenient to use than the cordless one (due to the dependence on sockets and the presence of a power cable). However, in the first case, this is offset by ease of use (no compressor is required for operation), in the second – by an extensive choice of power.
In general, there are somewhat fewer mains-powered models on the market than battery-powered ones. However, this is mainly due to the fact that even in drills and wrenches, high engine power is required relatively infrequently, not to mention screwdrivers.
