An upgraded version of the powerful 2013 Xbox 360 entertainment system. One of the main changes is purely aesthetic — the Microsoft Xbox 360 E has gone glossy matte, and has also shrunk a bit to become more refined. At the same time, the number of USB ports has been reduced to 4, the power supply has been changed, and the optical output has disappeared. But the hardware hardware has remained the same — we still have the same performant console with a built-in Wi-Fi wireless module and 5.1 multi-channel surround sound.

A new generation game console that was released in 2013. Microsoft Xbox One is a real multimedia centre that combines the capabilities of a modern console, TV, home theater, music player, and also provides access to the Internet in a single compact package. Another important feature is that the model initially has a contactless Kinect controller, thanks to which you can control the console and play games using gestures and movements. "Under the hood" is an 8-core processor, 8 GB of RAM and a 500 GB hard drive. Note the acoustics of the 7.1 format.

A handheld game console introduced by Sony in 2013 as the second generation of the Vita. The Slim index is quite true: the thickness of the case in this model has decreased to 15 mm. At the same time, it is identical to the original console in most characteristics and features: Cortex A9 processor, 5" display with a resolution of 960x544, touch control through the screen and a touchpad on the back of the case, support for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, a GPS module, work with proprietary memory cards, a digital camera with the possibility of gaming applications.However, there are differences — in particular, the screen received an LCD matrix instead of OLED, and the proprietary port was replaced with microUSB.

A portable game console, in fact, a modification of the advanced 3DS model, created with the expectation of simplification and corresponding reduction in price. The simplification affected primarily 3D capabilities — none of the 2DS screens are capable of reproducing 3D (although the camera for creating three-dimensional images has not disappeared). Another difference is the clumsy body. The rest of the characteristics of the device have not changed much: two displays with the same dimensions (3.53 "and 3.02"), a Wi-Fi module, an accelerometer with a gyroscope, flash-based memory (2 GB) plus a card slot. The package includes a stylus and a 4 GB card.

An advanced gaming console that combines the solid functionality of the original PlayStation 4 with twice the storage capacity — in this case, the hard drive capacity is 1 TB, which can make life a lot easier for avid gamers. The device is built on the AMD Jaguar processor, specially designed for set-top boxes; RAM installed 8 GB. The built-in optical drive makes it possible to work with Blu-ray discs. The capabilities of the video accelerator in the Sony PlayStation 4 Ultimate Player Edition game console are enough to play Full HD pictures; and the sound system supports sound up to 7.1.

A variation on the PlayStation 3 from autumn 2012, modified to reduce size and weight: it is almost a quarter thinner and lighter than the "regular" slim version. Like its predecessor, Super Slim is built on an 8-core 3.2 GHz processor and has 256 MB of RAM, but the hard drive is available in 2 versions — 12 and 500 GB. Of the supported media — optical discs up to Blu-ray. The console has 2 USB ports and a traditional set of communications — LAN, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth. Dualshock 3 controller included.

The technical characteristics of this portable set-top box are fully consistent with the name: in fact, we have the same 3DS in front of us, and the main difference from the original is the increased size of both displays — 4.88 "and 4.18" for the top and bottom, respectively. Another difference is the bundle, which includes, in addition to the stylus, also a 4 GB SD memory card. Other characteristics are almost identical: 3D playback without special glasses, a camera with a pair of lenses for three-dimensional shooting, an accelerometer, a gyroscope, a Wi-Fi module.

A very advanced portable console, in fact, more like a multimedia centre than a pure gaming device. So, she can play videos, music and photos, has Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth modules, and a set of software includes social networking clients. The 5" OLED display has a resolution of 960x544 and is equipped with a sensor; the rear panel is also touch-sensitive, which, in combination with the built-in gyroscope, provides advanced control in games. Games are delivered on special cards designed specifically for Vita.

Quite an interesting variation on the theme of the original PlayStation 3. On the one hand, the new console has lost a memory card slot and half of the USB ports (Slim has 2 of them). On the other hand, the volume of the built-in storage has increased to 120 GB (in the minimum configuration), and power consumption has decreased by 30% with the same hardware basis: 8-core processor with 3.2 GB, 256 MB of RAM and a Blu-ray drive. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, integration with the PlayStation Network and even the installation of additional software from the PlayStation Store.
