— support for Dynamic DNS is useful when working with a dynamic IP address. Each computer on the network, whether local or Internet, has two parameters by which it can be "found" and access data: IP address and domain name. IP addresses are numerical codes used by network equipment, and domain names appeared for the convenience of users: it is much easier to remember a [site].com address than a sequence of numbers. The connection between domain names and IP addresses is provided by the operation of DNS servers — they store lists of domains and their corresponding IPs. However, in some server modes, its IP may change periodically; this is called a dynamic IP address. The essence of DDNS is that with each IP change, the corresponding information is sent to the DNS server, changes are made to its data, and the external user does not even notice that the IP address has changed.
