Sights with circle and cross reticle
Cross with circle
— a mark in the form of a cross, supplemented by a circle, is found in all types of sights (see "Type") and has its own specifics in different types. So, in classical optics and night sights such a reticle usually has a hunting purpose and is not designed for high-precision shooting; however, for a circle, the angular size is usually given, which gives some possibilities for quickly determining distances. And the cross itself can be both ordinary and duplex (see the relevant paragraphs). As for the red dot sights, they can use both a full-fledged crosshair in a circle, and a ring with “rays” protruding from it; anyway, such a mark is more noticeable than an ordinary cross.cross with circle | clear | Save List |
