— diopter adjustment is useful for those who suffer from nearsightedness / farsightedness. This function allows you to adjust the sight so that the shooter with vision problems sees a clear “picture” in the eyepiece without the use of glasses or contact lenses (both of which can be inconvenient for a number of reasons). Roughly speaking, when using this function, the sight also works as an optic for vision correction. The range of such a correction, however, is relatively small, but in most cases it is sufficient even for an average degree of myopia or hyperopia.
