This makes it possible to choose the most convenient brand, depending on the specifics of the situation and personal preferences: for example, in a dimly lit room, a collimator (see "Type") is more convenient to use with a simple point, and when entering daylight, you can turn on a more noticeable brand, such as like a circle with a dot or a cross. Similarly, you can reconfigure the night sight: if the distance is known, you can use the simplest hunting grid (for example, a cross), and when you change the distance to the targets, switch to rangefinder markings like “mil-dot”.
