Speakerphone

— desktop devices, which look like a speaker with a built-in omnidirectional microphone, are usually designed to connect to a PC. The main function of speakerphones is hands-free communication, for example, during meetings on Skype. Their design allows several people to participate in a conversation at once from one side. Many models allow use in special communication systems; it may also be possible to connect several speakerphones.
