Sound cards with MIDI output

— output for transmitting MIDI signals to an external device. See "MIDI support" for details on such signals. Here we note that it is possible to transform MIDI into sound on the computer itself, however, in this way it is not always possible to achieve the required quality — sometimes this function has to be transferred to external devices such as synthesizers. This output is used to connect them.

Also, a MIDI output is usually paired with an input of the same type. Accordingly, a sound card with this function can be used not only to broadcast MIDI signals from a computer, but also to switch the data stream from an external device (for example, the same synthesizer).
