Hard Drives (HDD) A-Data series HD (shock-resistant)
prices on 5 modelsADATA HD
All drives in the A-Data HD series share a durable armored construction with three layers of protection, consisting of a shock-absorbing silicone outer shell, a solid inner buffer, and a resilient mounting of the hard drive itself. Most models are certified to the US military standard MIL-STD-810G, resistant to impacts from drops ranging from 1.2 to 1.8 meters (depending on the model), and the top versions additionally comply with the IP68 standard. Additionally, this series is equipped with impact sensors that lock the hard drive head during a drop or strong shake, preventing possible damage to the platters.

The A-Data HD range includes 2.5" format drives with a USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.0) interface, a rotation speed of 5400 RPM, and memory capacities from 500 GB to 5 TB. Basic models like the HD650 and HD330 offer entry-level protection with a shock-resistant silicone case and a convenient USB-cable holder on the side edges. More advanced models like the HD710 Pro and HD770G boast IP68 water and dust protection with a special port cover. And the bestseller HD720 can withstand falls from a record height of 1.8 meters, exceeding MIL-STD-810G requirements, and is equipped with a reinforced protective silicone port cover.
Many models in the HD series are available in various color options (black, blue, green, red, camouflage depending on the model). Due to the use of multi-layer armor, they are noticeably larger and heavier than regular "pocket" drives. Most come with a USB cable and an optional holder on the case, which makes transportation easy—just attach the cable to the case and you’re ready. Additionally, many support 256-bit AES encryption and can be used with PlayStation and Xbox gaming consoles as backup storage. Rounding out the picture is a three-year warranty on all models in the lineup.
