Resistant to water, dust and falls from a height

Beneath the coloured rubber shell, the DashDrive Durable has a silicone main body that meets IEC529 IPX7 and MIL-STD-810 international dust and water resistance standards. This means that the disk can be drowned at a depth of one metre for half an hour, dropped from a height of up to 1.2 metres, and also used when the temperature fluctuates from 5 to 50 degrees Celsius.

High copy speed up to 96 Mb/s

HDD Toshiba MQ01ABD075 (capacity 1 TB) with support for Advanced Format technology, which optimizes disk performance in modern operating systems, is installed inside the protected case. In synthetic tests, when connected via USB 3.1 Gen1, the drive shows an average read speed of 76 MB / s and a write of 74 MB / s. When linearly recording one large file like a Blu Ray rip of a new movie, the maximum speed reaches 96 Mb / s. As befits a modern external HDD, the DashDrive Durable HD710 is USB 2.0 compatible.

A set of proprietary software

As a bonus, the disk comes with an unusual set of HDDtoGO and OStoGO utilities. On the one hand, they allow you to simplify the backup of data from the main disk, archiving data, or writing your contact information to disk in case of loss.
