Despite the huge number of similar models, the range of Asus gaming peripherals looks simple. The lower stage is occupied by devices of the TUF series with an optimal price-quality ratio. Then there are the near-prototype ROG Strix models without the need to save on small things. Well, the dominant position in the hierarchy is occupied by the flagship ROG keyboards with a slight touch of experimentation.

For example, the ROG Falchion model is one of the most compact mechanical keyboards on the market: the case with a length of only 306 mm looks miniature even against the background of tournament TKL models. Otherwise, it's a flagship model with a massive metal base, impressive battery life and zero-latency wireless connectivity. Its unusual feature is reinforced double polybutylene terephthalate keycaps and a small touch panel on the left side, with which you can control multimedia functions (volume, track switching), use it for navigation or for quick recording macros.

Another interesting variant of the "not like everyone else" keyboard is the modular model ROG Claymore II presented at CES 2021. Its key feature was the Numpad with magnetic latches, which, if not needed, can be unfastened, turning the full-format keyboard into a shortened TKL version. In addition, this is the first model in the range of the Taiwanese brand, in which optical switches of its own production ROG RX Blue/Red with a resource of 100 million clicks debuted.
