Impact rated torsion bits

— bits with a special torsion insert — a spring section in the form of a shaft, working on twisting. The necessary rigidity of the torsion bar is provided due to the special conditions of metal hardening. This area in the design of the nozzle takes on part of the energy of impacts directed tangentially to the trajectory of rotation of the bit. Torsion bits are used in impact modes of operation with a screwdriver when screwing long self-tapping screws into hard materials or unscrewing old “soured” fasteners.
