Socket heads (E-profile/Torx)

— e-profile socket wrenches have a working part in the form of a characteristic six-pointed star. This type is also called "external Torx" — the profile shape is identical to the Torx bit (see the corresponding section), but in this case, the protruding part is on the fastener, and the recess is on the working attachment (as opposed to the "regular" Torx). This type of profile is predominantly found in automobiles.
