— a variety of bits for fasteners with additional anti-vandal protection; also known as Torx Tamper Resistant (TR). The outer part of such a nozzle has the same shape as a regular Torx (see the relevant paragraph) — a six-pointed asterisk. The difference is that in the centre of the Torx Security slot there is a pin, and in the centre of the nozzle, respectively, there is a hole.

Torx TR tools can work with regular Torx slots, but not vice versa.
