Pushchairs with articulated shock absorbers
Articulated type
— the type of shock absorption used in pushchairs with carrycots - classic, universal, transformers. The frame, on which the carrycot or seat unit is installed, in such models is attached to the base of the pushchair with the help of special bridges, which play the role of shock absorbers. Belt hinges can be used as bridges, such systems can also be referred to as articulated. In any case, this type of shock absorption is perfect for carrycots. First of all, the pushchair runs as smoothly and softly as possible, which contributes to the comfort and sound sleep of the kid (and it is much easier for the parent to drive the pushchair, especially on uneven terrain). Secondly, the carrycot on such a pushchair can be rocked back and forth, lulling the baby. On the other hand, such systems are poorly suited for sports frames with swivel front wheels; and the failure of one shock absorber leads to a tilt of the carrycot.
