HIPS plastic for 3D printers
HIPS
— HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene) is a blend of polybutadiene and polystyrene. It exhibits properties that fall between ABS and PLA. The material combines good strength, elasticity, and ease of post-processing: HIPS can be sanded, painted, and easily mechanically processed. Additionally, this type of plastic is non-biodegradable, making 3D-printed items reliable and durable. It is resistant to moisture and can withstand prolonged exposure to open air. The melting temperature ranges from 230 to 260 °C. HIPS does not exhibit toxic properties, allowing its use in the production of food utensils and packaging. No offers found
