PLA+

— a type of biodegradable PLA plastic with a set of additives that go beyond the usual composition. Additives give the material additional properties: smooth glossy appearance, improved interlayer adhesion, excellent layer sintering, high tensile and bending strength, reduced mechanical brittleness. PLA+ plastic is often odorless. The specific additive formula may vary depending on the type of plastic and the manufacturer of the 3D drawing raw material. Some PLA+ filaments can also cause clogging of the nozzle, while other additives increase the required heating temperature by a couple of tens of degrees. As a result, print settings must be selected empirically for a particular type of PLA + plastic.
