— one of the features of PLA plastic is “sustainability”: it is made from natural plant materials, is biodegradable and is considered more environmentally friendly than ABS. In addition, the advantages of this material include a lower melting point, the absence of an unpleasant odour (when heated, a faint caramel aroma occurs), and the fact that PLA can be translucent and even luminescent. At the same time, completed products from it are more fragile and less durable than from ABS.
