Such pens are a hand-held analogue of 3D printers — they allow the user to “draw” three-dimensional figures using plastic supplied through a nozzle. Consumables for such tools are traditionally sold in sets, while the filaments in the set can be either one-colour or multicoloured (usually 4 – 6 filaments of the same colour).
