Edge banding

— machines for facing furniture blanks made of board materials with a special edge that protects the ends and sides of the products from mechanical damage and moisture penetration, and also guarantees an attractive appearance of the product.

Such machines are used for edging parts with both straight and curved shapes. Many of them focus on the use of glue in the process, which melts when heated and rapidly hardens when cooled. There are manual edgebanders, semi-automatic and fully automatic models.
