Groove-grooving

— machines designed for making grooves in blanks, most often wooden. Outwardly, such units somewhat resemble drilling machines, however, instead of a drill, a chisel-type blade is used as a working tool, which makes reciprocating movements, and an emphasis is provided on the desktop for rectilinear movement of the workpiece. Grooving machines are indispensable for selecting long, even grooves: they allow you to achieve accuracy that is unattainable when using hand tools.
