The WD My Cloud EX2 Ultra is based on a dual-core Marvell ARMADA 385 processor (frequency 1.3 GHz), and the DDR3 RAM is 1 GB. The model supports data transfer at a speed of up to 1 Gbps via a LAN port, and two USB 3.2 Gen 1 connectors allow you to connect external devices for backup and additional data storage. Active cooling helps maintain stable system operation under intensive loads.

The NAS server has a rich set of software functions, including multimedia capabilities (DLNA, iTunes, uPnP), FTP server, print server, server video surveillance and BitTorrent client.
