ThrustMaster TCA Quadrant Add-On Airbus Edition

Additional module for flight simulators, released in 2024 with official Airbus license and designed to enhance the functionality of the existing TCA Quadrant Airbus Edition. The accessory itself does not work independently — it is an add-on accessory that docks with the main quadrant via included SATA-cables and mounting connectors, creating a unified control panel. The device is aimed at advanced virtual pilots who find the basic set of levers insufficient and want to bring their home cockpit closer to a real Airbus cockpit.

The ThrustMaster TCA Quadrant Add-On Airbus Edition gaming controller includes 15 control elements, the key ones being a flaps lever with detents, airbrake lever, landing gear switch, and parking brake. The detents on the flaps levers are especially important: they provide tactile feedback and allow setting the desired position by feel, without distraction from the instrument panel during landing approach. The airbrake helps to reduce speed while descending, and a separate landing gear switch frees your hands from manually assigning this function to the stick. The parking brake is useful for simulating taxiing and parking on the stand. The design fits into the overall Airbus TCA ecosystem, which also includes a sidestick and TFRP pedals.
