ThrustMaster TCA Quadrant Boeing Edition

A specialized accessory for flight simulators, this is a replica of the engine control levers section of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner passenger liner. Released in 2022 under dual official licenses from Boeing and Microsoft, it falls under the expert-level equipment category, targeted at civil aviation enthusiasts in Microsoft Flight Simulator, X-Plane, DCS, and similar projects.

Unlike military HOTAS controllers, the focus here is on smooth operation with throttle, autopilot modes, and flaps — everything used in real commercial airline flight. The ThrustMaster TCA Quadrant Boeing Edition joystick features four interchangeable levers, which can be repositioned between slots — this allows for a personalized setup and the option to work with the left hand if desired.

The resistance movement of the throttle levers replicates the real sensations embedded in the Dreamliner cockpit — the linear force gradually increases along the movement. Noteworthy is the autopilot block with rotating knobs for managing altitude, speed, and heading — the design and ergonomics of these controls are also copied from the prototype. Precision reading is ensured by the proprietary H.E.A.R.T. magnetic technology with 16-bit resolution across three axes — no mechanical friction and wear over time. The device connects via USB-A to a Windows PC, powered through the bus. The package includes a transverse bar and mounting elements for combining the quadrant with other TCA Boeing line modules.
