Sony's strongest flagship gets attention in just about everything. What is the mirror case of a smartphone worth — not very practical in terms of visibility of traces of pollution, but causing a “wow” effect in others. Appearance is not the main thing, because the front panel of the Sony Xperia XZ Premium is occupied by a unique 5.46-inch 4K screen (3840x2160 pixels). “Under the hood” of the mobile gadget, advanced hardware is installed as part of the Snapdragon 835 chip, 4 GB of RAM and Adreno 540 graphics.
The built-in data storage has a volume of 64 GB, while support for microSD memory cards up to 256 GB is claimed. The “chip” of the main camera of the device (19 MP) is the support for video recording in HD resolution at a speed of 960 fps. The front camera uses a 13-megapixel matrix with software algorithms to improve the skin of the model's face when taking selfies. The body of the smartphone is protected from dust and moisture according to the IP68 standard, and there is a place for a fingerprint scanner on the side edge.

Unusual style

But the battery capacity looks somewhat underestimated for a top-end device and is 2900 mAh. In contrast to the above, it is necessary to note the effective energy-saving algorithms of Sony phones, so you hardly have to worry about the battery life.
Photo and video
An equally strong side of the Sony Xperia XZ is photo and video shooting. The main camera with an impressive 23 MP and a maximum aperture of f / 2.0 boasts ultra-fast hybrid autofocus, which catches the subject almost instantly, and the ability to record 4K movies. A 13 MP front camera takes good selfies and can recognize faces.
