In particular, the model has acquired an elongated 6-inch diagonal screen with a cinematic aspect ratio of 21:9. Due to atypical proportions, the picture is displayed on it at a resolution of 2520x1080 pixels. The display of the gadget is based on a juicy OLED matrix substrate and is “covered” with Gorilla Glass 6 protective glass.
The Sony Xperia 10 II hardware is based on the Snapdragon 665 mobile processor, which is accompanied by 4/128 GB of memory and Adreno 610 graphics. The question of the smartphone is a triple main camera consisting of a 12 MP leading image sensor, 8 MP ultra-wide and 8 MP telephoto. The model is equipped with a side fingerprint scanner, an NFC, and a 3.5 mm audio jack on the top of the case. The internal components of the device are powered by a 3600mAh rechargeable battery with support for 18W fast charging. The body of the smartphone is protected from dust and moisture in accordance with the requirements of the IP68 standard.

Having bought in Poland, which you can’t buy anywhere in Ukraine, a little more than 9000 hryvnias for taxes free of charge. The phone is just super, there is nothing similar on the Ukrainian market. I liked the 21:9 aspect ratio display. It's very convenient to use and fits well in the hand. The display is large, but the phone itself doesn't look like a wide shovel. The design is great, with no screen notches or holes, which is really cool. The camera is also good for a mid-range device. Form style
Sony has long been scolded by many for its persistent unwillingness to keep up with the times and adjust its smartphones to current fashion trends. On the other hand, the "Japanese" stand out in a crowd of monotonous gadgets and receive positive feedback from lovers of the good old classics. And the Sony Xperia 10 II is no exception. The model has retained the frames around the screen — there are no cutouts, drops, “bangs” and round holes for the front camera here. But there is a business card in the form of a "cinematic" screen. It is elongated and has an unusual aspect ratio of 21:9. Given that the OLED panel is not too big (6"), the smartphone fits quite comfortably in the hand. It's not certain that you'll be able to reach the top with your thumb, but it does have a compact sidebar mode with a menu of frequently used apps. In general, such a screen is well suited for watching videos and everyday tasks, but you should not expect anything supernatural from it.
Not the best processor
Sony Xperia 10 II belongs to the middle price segment, but even taking this into account, the choice of processor is not encouraging. Inside the smartphone is not the most powerful 2019 Snapdragon 665 chip, coupled with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory. The smartphone is definitely not suitable for games, although it does not claim to be a gaming one, but it will provide stable operation when performing daily tasks such as surfing the web and watching YouTube videos. On the other hand, the manufacturer (again!) did not follow the competitors' lead and left both a 3.5 mm headphone jack, which has already become a rarity nowadays, and a hybrid slot for a microSD card, which will help increase the already rather large amount of memory.
Middle class
The rest of the characteristics also correspond to the middle class. The battery is not the most capacious (3600 mAh), but this is not surprising for such a case, there is support for 18W fast charging. If you do not let go of the phone, you will have to charge it in the evening, and if you use it normally, one charge can last for a couple of days. The fingerprint scanner is located on the side, there is NFC for contactless payment for purchases. The main camera consists of three modules (12 MP + 8-megapixel telephoto + 8-megapixel wide-angle camera) and allows you to shoot good video in 4K. The quality of the pictures, of course, is not at the highest level, but for Instagram and a personal archive, the camera's capabilities are quite enough. Finally, the smartphone is thoroughly protected from dust and water according to the IP68 standard, which is rarely seen in mid-range models.
To sum up, the cost of the Sony Xperia 10 II is still too high, since for this money you can find more performant and advanced models. But here the focus is on convenience and classic design: if you are a supporter of compact size and remember with nostalgia the old “tubes” that were nice to hold in your hand, welcome to the ranks of Sony.
