Bought it 5 days ago and have been running it non-stop to check the entire surface for bad sectors—none found so far))) and hopefully won't find any). I read on other sites that say this drive is bad, with bad sectors appearing like mushrooms, but I haven't found any yet. Very confused by his S.M.A.R.T. attribute 7 positioning errors of the magnetic head assembly (MHA), overnight the parameter dropped to 60 (threshold 30) while on the old one, which was 3 years old (in use), this parameter was 86. In principle, I didn’t notice any problems with the operation itself, but two of these drives died after a year. Works quite quickly, cheap. After just under a year of use, bad sectors suddenly started appearing, and both of these drives failed in one day due to bad sectors. It's sad.  Tvrda: use Seagate ST500LT012 more than year |
