A wearable gadget focused on measuring the parameters of physical activity during sports, which is clearly hinted at by the Sport prefix in the model name. The hardware platform of the watch exactly repeats the “hardware” of the classic Samsung Gear S3, but outwardly the sports version can be recognized by the reduced screen size (1.2" versus 1.3). The display, as usual, is made using SuperAMOLED technology, and its resolution is 360x360 pixels.
The Samsung Gear Sport is water resistant up to 50m, but diving with the watch is not recommended. But it does not limit users in swimming, whether it is an artificial reservoir or salty sea water.
Friendly interface
The watch operates on the basis of Tizen OS, which is now “friendly” not only with Android gadgets, but also with Apple devices. The menu interface of the proprietary shell is intuitive, and everyone can easily figure out how to control it through touch input and a rotating bezel. To display training data, as well as display current values of time, date and notifications from applications, a SuperAMOLED display with a resolution of 360x360 pixels is used.
