. A fairly compact and lightweight member of the family of telephoto lenses for Nikon systems. Designed for full frame matrices and Nikon F mount. The focal length range is 70-300 mm, the minimum focus distance is 1.5 m; autofocus is carried out by an ultrasonic drive. Also worth noting is the rounded 9-bladed diaphragm with a minimum value of 32.

G-series telephoto zoom lens (without aperture ring). Aperture in Aperture Priority and Manual modes is only selectable on the camera body. The lens is compact and lightweight. The nine-blade rounded diaphragm ensures that out-of-focus objects are reproduced naturally. Special multi-layer coating of lenses (Super Integrated Coating) and blackening of internal surfaces provide accurate colour reproduction, minimizing stray light and reflections.
