An impressively large ultra-wide multi-purpose monitor with a 34" UltraQuadHD (21:9) thin bezel curved screen, enhanced colour reproduction, faster refresh rate and RGB backlight control with MSI Mystic Light Sync technology. It is positioned as a product of the middle price category of 2020 from the MSI Arsenal Gaming family of gaming models. Its screen is based on a high-quality 8-bit VA-type matrix with a resolution of 3440x1440 and flicker-free backlighting on W-LED elements. An interesting feature of the MSI Optix MAG342CQRV monitor is the bending of the matrix (R1500), which compensates for optical distortions in its corners and helps to fully utilize peripheral vision. Thanks to the aspect ratio of 21:9, the monitor is convenient when multitasking in several applications open in parallel and is especially good when editing audio / video content (provides a large timeline). The monitor is quite large, requiring a table at least 1 meter, or ideally 1200 cm, for convenient use. The package includes only an HDMI cable, with no displayport cable included. I recommend purchasing one separately before buying, as it is necessary to fully utilize the FreeSync feature. The monitor is top-notch for its price, with no backlight bleed on the panel. It has good color coverage, making it comfortable for photo editing or color correction during video editing. The monitor features a massive stand, which is metallic and adequately weighted. Additionally, the monitor has adjustments for height, tilt, and swivel angles. Adjusting the monitor to personal preference is not problematic. To display stable 100 FPS, a graphics card of at least the 2080 super level is required, as the 21:9 aspect ratio and 3440 x 1440 screen resolution demand substantial graphics card resources. Personally, I liked the Anti-Flicker and Less Blue Light features, which help reduce eye strain during extended use. Overall, this monitor enhances the gaming experience. I plan to purchase a second one and recommend it for both gamers and those who work with video. An impressive screen size for its resolution, I switched to this monitor from a 23-inch one, fire and water, there's enough space for everything. In games, you can see much more than your opponents, especially noticeable in shooters. After moving from a 60-100 Hz refresh rate, the changes are noticeable. The viewing angles are very good. The monitor has a VA panel, which makes the image rich and clear. a large desk is required because the monitor is very bulky. Lack of HDR support.
